Information about cookies<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Due to the entry into force of the relevant amendment to the \u201cLaw on Information Society Services\u201d (LSSICE) established by Royal Decree 13\/2012, it is mandatory to obtain the express consent of the user on all websites that use non-essential cookies, before the user browses them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What are cookies?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cookies and other similar technologies such as local shared objects, flash cookies, or pixels are tools used by web servers to store and retrieve information about their visitors, as well as to ensure the proper functioning of the site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the use of these devices, the web server is able to remember certain data about the user, such as their preferences for viewing the pages of that server, username and password, products of greatest interest, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the EU directive, cookies that require the user’s informed consent are analytics cookies and advertising and affiliate cookies, while technical cookies and those necessary for the operation of the website or for providing services expressly requested by the user are exempt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to purpose<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Technical and functional<\/strong> cookies: these are the ones that allow the user to browse a website, platform, or application and use the different options or services available on it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Analytics<\/strong> cookies: these are the ones that allow their controller to monitor and analyze the behavior of users of the websites to which they are linked. The information collected through this type of cookie is used to measure the activity of websites, applications, or platforms and to create browsing profiles of users of those sites, applications, and platforms, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data made by users of the service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advertising<\/strong> cookies: these are the ones that allow for the most efficient possible management of the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the publisher has included on a website, application, or platform from which the requested service is provided, based on criteria such as the edited content or the frequency at which ads are shown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Behavioral advertising <\/strong>cookies: these collect information about the user’s preferences and personal choices (retargeting) to allow for the most efficient possible management of the advertising spaces that, where appropriate, the publisher has included on a website, application, or platform from which the requested service is provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Social<\/strong> cookies: these are set by social media platforms in the services to allow you to share content with your friends and networks. Social media platforms have the ability to track your online activity outside the Services. This may affect the content and messages you see on other services you visit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Affiliate<\/strong> cookies: these allow tracking of visits coming from other websites with which the website has established an affiliation agreement (affiliate companies).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to ownership<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

First-party<\/strong> cookies: these are sent to the user\u2019s terminal device from a device or domain managed by the publisher itself and from which the requested service is provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third-party<\/strong> cookies: these are sent to the user\u2019s terminal device from a device or domain not managed by the publisher, but by another entity that processes the data obtained through the cookies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Session<\/strong> cookies: a type of cookie designed to collect and store data while the user accesses a website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Persistent<\/strong> cookies: a type of cookie in which the data remain stored on the terminal and can be accessed and processed for a period defined by the cookie\u2019s controller, which can range from a few minutes to several years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
